What kind of fossils might you find in Antarctica? I didn't think anything ever lived there? Fish? Mammals? Keep us all posted.

What an outstanding idea for a fun and interactive website! The topic is fascinating. My children's father is on a cruise to Antarctica and has posted amazing videos and pictures on Facebook. You all did a great job so far; keep up that spirit.

I would like to know what the theory is from the scientists on-the-site in Antarctica regarding how the climate shift at the polar caps impacted the global extinction of such huge animals.

Hi Mrs. Lewis and class! I'm a 5th grader from Mitchel. We are very fortunate to have another class joining us on our blog. I hope your class enjoys learning about Ant. As much as our class does! :)

Dear Sue Parker,

The answer to your first question is that there was evidence that there was life in Antartica 260 million years ago.
They found tracks, trails, and burrows
of animals that once lived there. They also found fish swimming trails at the bottom of a lake that once was there.
